Do I have to have a Consumer Credit
Licence to offer 3dee loans?
By law you must have a Consumer Credit
Licence to offer the 3dee loan facility,
however we will complete most of the
paperwork on your behalf.
How much does a Consumer Credit
Licence currently cost?
The fee for a Consumer Credit Licence is
currently £110 for a sole trader and £275 for
a partnership or limited company, but will
last for 5 years before you are required to
renew it.
Why do you charge a registration fee?
We at 3dee pride ourselves as being unique
in our services and in our commitment to you.
We visit your practice to take you and your
team through a comprehensive training and
coaching session, providing a detailed
overview of how 3dee works for you and your
patient. This includes a session on verbal skills
and looking at how to present financial
options to patients in order to increase case
acceptance.
Our registration fee also includes us
completing the necessary paperwork to apply
for your Consumer Credit Licence, thereby
removing the burden of paperwork from
yourselves, and will also cover the cost of
all point of sale marketing materials to
promote 3dee to your patients.
In addition to the above, we also provide you
with on-going help and support through a
business manager appointed to work with
your practice, as well as telephone support
from our office based team.
How do my patients repay their loans?
Clode Retail Finance Limited, 3dee's credit
provider, will collect the monthly repayments
from your patients by Direct Debit for the
term of the loan.
Is the procedure for applying for a
3dee loan in practice complicated?
The procedure is very easy. A simple application
form is completed in the practice with the
patient and the details are then telephoned
through to our lender, Clode Retail Finance
Limited. Usually an answer will be provided
within around 3 minutes! Treatment could
then begin immediately.
When do I receive my money?
Payment is made by ay of a BACS transfer
directly to the practice bank account within
5 working days of our lender receiving the
signed paperwork. Any relevant subsidy
charge will be deducted prior to payment
being made.
